"When Breaking a Current"
Installation and performance.
Volksbühne, Berlin 2010

A glass pathway flowed through the center of the foyer of this historic east Berlin theatre. As the audience gathered, they were handed a pair of sefety goggles to wear. Mira made her entrance through the center doorway, wielding a hammer and smashing the glass. Audience members were shortly invited to participate in the liberating experience of smashing glass! Each participant performed the smashing with his/her own personal flair.
