"Glass Floor"

Yale Thesis Exhibition, 2008

The piece, "Glass Floor," is interactive and continually developing. The wooden platform is covered in laminated glass, with photographs underneath. In order to view the imagery contained in the photographs, one must climb the steps and walk onto the platform. Crackling can be heard underfoot, as the glass continues to break. Walking across the platform produces new cracks in the glass, which further obscures the imagery below.
