"Brittle Thicket"

The floor of Vierter Stock is covered with laminated glass, and under the glass is a painting of tree branches from the perspective of someone looking straight up at the sky. This vision of the sky is transposed under foot, as visitors walk over the glass, producing a crackling sound.
